'Toofan 2.0' now at the local self-government institution level

With the aim of ensuring a secure future and a drug-free society, the Local Self-Government Department, the Police, and the Excise Department have jointly launched 'Toofan 2.0' in the Areacode Block Panchayat. The 'Toofan 2.0' initiative commenced at the Areacode Block Panchayat office on September 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The Block Panchayat President, Smt. Ayisha K.T., hoisted the flag, while elected representatives, staff members, and individuals from various sectors took the 'Toofan' pledge. The state-level inauguration of the second phase of 'Operation Toofan' (also known as 'Toofan Thadesham' or 'Toofan 2.0') was screened for the attendees in the Block Office auditorium via a live web stream.
